There are many options when it comes to the material you use for your patio, traditionally people have used slabs which range from a basic dimpled concrete square that you typically see on pavements up to high-end natural products like marble and granite. As you will see from our gallery, many of the modern block paving options can look equally good on your patio as they do on your drive.
However, the new kid on the block is resin bound aggregate which can look stunning as it now comes in so many different colours and because it is porous you won’t need any drainage channels.

Landscape and Garden Design
Our designer Jo studied Horticulture and garden design at Capel Manor College – London’s only specialist environmental college. She also has a BSc in Psychology. Jo has been working in the industry for 9 years.
Jo is passionate about developing environmentally green spaces to complement and offset the hard landscaping.
More than ever, we now appreciate and recognise the need for green spaces that are essential for our physical and mental wellbeing. From hedging, to the planting of wildlife borders, to open green spaces.
Planners are now looking carefully at the provision of greenery in landscaping and developers are seeing more and more clients adding these spaces to their wish lists.
Employers have also seen the benefits of adding green spaces, contributing to their employee’s wellbeing and productivity.
